Logistics Consultant

Job Summary:
As a Logistics Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the movement of goods for our clients, ensuring timely and safe delivery. You will collaborate with carrier partners and shippers to oversee the full lifecycle of every shipment, providing first-in-class customer service and developing long-term relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the movement of goods for clients, ensuring timely and safe delivery
- Collaborate with carrier partners and shippers to oversee the full lifecycle of every shipment
- Provide exceptional customer service and develop long-term relationships with clients
- Conduct contract negotiations to maintain market competitive pricing
- Collaborate with team members on pricing strategies and problem-solving
- Perform a high volume of "cold-calling" to build a portfolio of clients
- Stay up-to-date on market conditions and technology through internal and external training
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or 4+ years of sales experience
- Strong professional communication skills
- Ability to travel to meet with potential and existing clients as needed
- Proven customer service skills
- Sales-driven and self-motivated
- Willingness to work well within a team
- Ability to work in person at designated Axle location
