Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our laboratory team in Sherwood, AR. As a Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests, including microscopic analyses, and operating various laboratory instruments to provide accurate diagnostic information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and analyze laboratory tests across multiple disciplines, including hematology, coagulation, microbiology, chemistry, and molecular biology.
  • Conduct microscopic examinations on all relevant specimens.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, including hematological analyzers, automated coagulation systems, microbiology identification systems, chemistry analyzers, and molecular diagnostic equipment.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field for MT; Associate's degree for MLT.
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by ASCP or equivalent.
  • Experience in high-complexity testing preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with laboratory instruments listed above.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training opportunities.

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - 80,000 per year, depending on experience.
