Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve food to customers in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients for food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
  • Weigh and measure ingredients according to recipes and production standards.
  • Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators, following safety standards.
  • Store food in designated areas, following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
  • Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
  • Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
  • Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following outlined steps of service.
  • Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
  • Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
