Vice President of Quality Assurance

Annexon Biosciences is seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Quality to lead our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, developing and implementing quality management systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems, including document control, deviation management, CAPA, and change control.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with FDA, EMA, and other regulatory agencies' regulations, directives, and ICH guidelines.
- Quality Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to product quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Training and Development: Develop training curricula and provide leadership and oversight for training programs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Education: Undergraduate or graduate degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biology, or related scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 18 years of experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $296,000 - $371,000 per year. The starting salary will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, transferable skills, licenses/certifications, location, and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine the final compensation.
