Job Title: International Operations Lead

At AIT Worldwide Logistics, we're seeking a highly skilled International Operations Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our international operations, ensuring seamless execution of shipments, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the complete shipment process, including quoting, data entry, pickup/delivery scheduling, CER entry, and interfacing with customs brokers.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with customers, vendors, and AIT teammates through courteous and professional communication.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to teammates on operational challenges and assist in training new international personnel.
  • Work closely with management to provide insight into team workload and assist in prioritizing action items.
  • Ensure accurate billing and documentation within company guidelines and timelines.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of working knowledge of Freight Forwarder International Operations, including IATA/NVOCC, FAA, TSA, Export Regulations, AES, and General CBP knowledge.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in export/import operations required; 3+ years of Cargowise experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CargoWise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high attention to detail and strong organizing skills.
