About the Role:

Hammond Family Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our dentists and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience throughout their dental journey
Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care
Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments, utilizing state-of-the-art technology
Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during a wide range of procedures
Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and clinical charting, ensuring seamless office workflow

Requirements:

1+ year of chairside expanded functions experience, including composite restoration placement
Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Excellent communication skills and patient-focused mindset
Ability to facilitate patient flow throughout the office
