Job Summary

Indiana Institute of Technology is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach undergraduate courses in psychology and social sciences at our Fort Wayne area locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in psychology and social sciences, including Introduction to Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Theories of Counseling, Aging, Group Dynamics, and other related courses.
  • Develop and implement course materials, assessments, and evaluations to ensure student learning outcomes.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students.
  • Participate in departmental and institutional service activities, such as curriculum development and committee work.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
  • College-level teaching experience, preferably in psychology or a related field.
  • Professional experience in psychology or a related field, preferably with a focus on teaching and research.
  • Experience with a Learning Management System, preferably with a focus on online teaching and learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population, including students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Demonstrated evidence of strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to students and colleagues.
  • Ability to use technology effectively in all aspects of their work, including teaching, research, and service.
