Job Title: Adjunct Professor of Philosophy

At the University of Saint Francis, we are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Philosophy to join our Division of Humanities and Social Sciences. As an Adjunct Professor, you will be responsible for teaching philosophy courses and contributing to the academic excellence of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach philosophy courses, adhering to the university's academic policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement curricula that align with the university's mission and Catholic Intellectual Tradition.
  • Provide high-quality instruction, assessment, and feedback to students.
  • Collaborate with the Philosophy Course Coordinator to ensure the success of philosophy courses.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of academic programs.
Requirements:
  • Masters or graduate degree in Philosophy or a related field.
  • One to two years of teaching or training experience, preferably in higher education.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
