International Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced International Tax Manager to join our team at RSM US LLP. As a key member of our International Tax Services team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to clients on international tax matters.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on international tax matters, including planning, research, compliance, and general mergers and acquisitions activities.
- Review and analyze complex international tax issues, including quantitative analysis and projects.
- Work with RSM member firms around the world to provide global tax advisory services.
- Assist with new business development, extended service, and tax issue recognition for existing clients.
- Manage corporate international client needs with respect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance.
- Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Active CPA or JD with State Bar.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in public accounting with a focus in international tax.
- Comprehensive understanding of tax law/rules and implications.
- Experience with international tax compliance, including forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, and 1118.
- Strong technical skills in accounting, tax preparation, and review within the international taxation environment.
- Working knowledge of inbound and outbound structure planning, foreign tax credits, worldwide tax minimization planning, transfer pricing analysis, and ASC 740.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with a national or large regional accounting firm.
