We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in assisting proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and body-interventional cases.
Key Responsibilities- Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and body-interventional cases, scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralists.
- Contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team of radiologists and vascular surgeons.
- Manage groin access post-intervention.
- Minimum 1 year prior experience as a licensed Radiology Technologist required.
- Strong knowledge of floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines.
- Ability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases.
- Ability to critically think during interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralists.
- Ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media devices during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records and sending images to Sectra systems.
- Strong communication skills using closed-loop communication.
- Ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for caseload.
- Ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to professionally and effectively communicate information to patients.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks required.
