Product Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Freedom Mortgage. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Product strategy, working closely with business leadership to identify and recommend features and functionality to enhance value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision: Define Minimum Viable Product, focusing on essential components to achieve business objectives.
• Agile Team Management: Maintain an Agile team's work backlog by assessing business and customer value.
• Innovation and Communication: Encourage creative thinking and innovative solutions, and communicate effectively with both technical and business teams.
• Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project milestones and updates, and develop strategic product roadmaps and detailed plans.
• Documentation and Training: Lead in creating technical documentation and training materials, and translate product requirements into measurable engineering tasks.
• Metrics and Testing: Establish KPIs and track success metrics throughout product lifecycle, and oversee user acceptance testing to ensure alignment with product vision.
• Collaboration and Partnership: Partner with various departments for project planning and execution, and coordinate with other Product Owners and Managers for inter-team dependencies.
• Prioritization and Decision Making: Prioritize initiatives effectively based on customer and business needs, and maintain consistent attendance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience: At least six (6) years of Product Management experience.
• Industry Background: Preferred background in Mortgage Banking or related industries.

Work Environment:

The role may involve sitting, talking, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Work is typically in an office setting with moderate noise levels and no hazardous elements.
