Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Hospital Jefferson - Behavioral Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers, and coordinating patient care with other departments.
Responsibilities:- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care
- Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
- Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the state of Missouri and meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
