Key Responsibilities

The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for managing material shipments to and from our facility, ensuring that the warehouse operates efficiently. This role includes tracking inventory, performing essential warehouse tasks, and conducting thorough inspections.

We are looking for a motivated team player to:

  • Maintain organization within the warehouse, including boxing, moving, stacking, and inventory management.
  • Accurately and efficiently create kits as required for our clients.
  • Collect and dismantle boxes as needed.
  • Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving operations, including managing any discrepancies.
  • Control inventory levels effectively.
  • Input received inventory into the warehouse tracking system.
  • Resolve shipping and receiving issues promptly.
  • Operate warehouse machinery, such as forklifts and scissor lifts, safely.
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Verify packing lists against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Inspect incoming inventory to confirm that items are undamaged.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Must be a US citizen (capable of obtaining security clearance).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Military experience is preferred.
  • Reliability and dependability are required.
  • Familiarity with Excel is advantageous.
