Job Summary

Zachry Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and manage multiple crews of journeyman and helpers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage projects and teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple crews of journeyman and helpers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate project work activities, monitor progress, and advise foremen and employees on labor methods and required equipment and materials.
  • Conduct regular meetings with project foremen to coordinate future job activities and ensure continued productivity.
  • Advise foremen and employees on possible safety hazards and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, project managers, engineers, and QC inspectors to develop solutions to project problems.
  • Maintain progress and cost data to assist project management in analyzing work efficiency.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings with foremen and employees to address work areas and conditions requiring attention and stress compliance to company and regulatory safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Must have prior working experience with Zachry Group.
  • Must have 6+ years' experience as an Industrial Electrician.
  • Must have 3+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Must possess all Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for positions.
  • Must be able to meet all physical requirements.
  • Must be able to work at heights in excess of 300 ft.
  • Must have all required tools.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Zachry Group employee.
  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician.
  • National Center for Construction Education and Research's (NCCER) certification for Industrial Journeyman Electrician.
  • Formal/technical education.
Physical Requirements
  • Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
  • Will talk and hear to communicate.
  • Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls, and tools.
  • May be required to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50lbs.
  • Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and leather steel-toed work boots.
