As an Instructional Designer, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of online and technology-facilitated courses for our faculty, students, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to design and develop high-quality online courses that meet the needs of our students and faculty.
  • Assist in the implementation of new technologies and approaches for online learning, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain online courses, ensuring consistency with sound instructional design principles and standards.
  • Assess the effectiveness of online courses and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of new online programs and courses, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging educational technologies and best practices in online learning, making recommendations for their integration into our courses and programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, instructional design, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in course design, development, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex educational problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in instructional design software and tools, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and multimedia authoring tools.
