We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Matrix Providers in Bremerton, WA. This role offers a competitive financial package with a comprehensive insurance package, including health, dental, vision, and life coverage.

The successful candidate will work in Naval Hospital Bremerton, providing healthcare services to Military Service Members and their families. To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist.

This is a challenging opportunity that requires the ability to assess patient response to drug therapy, plan drug therapy based on physician-established diagnoses, and order laboratory tests necessary to evaluate drug therapy effects and outcomes. The salary for this role is estimated to be around $125,000 per year, which is commensurate with industry standards.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  1. Assessing patient response to drug therapy and planning drug therapy based on physician-established diagnoses.
  2. Ordering and evaluating laboratory tests necessary to evaluate drug therapy effects and outcomes.
  3. Initiating, modifying, or discontinuing medications for ongoing therapy of chronic disease states.
  4. Monitoring and managing pharmacotherapy requiring periodic adjustment due to specific or changing pharmacokinetic characteristics.
  5. Administering prescription or nonprescription drugs according to established agreements or MTF protocols.
  6. Evaluating medical and medication histories for drug-related problems and adjusting drug therapy accordingly.
  7. Consulting with other healthcare providers about patient treatment needs or options.
  8. Performing a full range of pharmacist procedures.
  9. Reviewing patient profiles at the time of dispensing in order to closely monitor medication therapy.
