Job Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a range of physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) or eligibility for licensure in Washington state
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a travel or contract position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary clearances
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and 13-week assignment. Synergy Medical Staffing offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
