We are seeking a skilled Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician to join our team in Everett, WA. As a member of Optum's care delivery team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional cancer care services.
About the Role
Our comprehensive cancer care program is COC accredited and ASCO QOPI certified, ensuring that we deliver top-notch patient care. You will have access to cutting-edge technology and diagnostics, including PET scans, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team of experts. Our state-of-the-art facilities feature fully integrated surgical oncology, radiation oncology, integrative medicine, naturopathic oncology, psychology, patient support, and nutritionist services under one roof.
Research Opportunities
You will have the chance to participate in an active research program, serving as a principal investigator or sub-investigator on clinical trials. This will enable you to stay at the forefront of medical advancements and contribute to improving patient outcomes.
Your Practice
As part of our team, you will enjoy dedicated tumor board meetings for various cancer types, close collaboration with university and academic centers, and opportunities for faculty positions. We offer a robust financial authorization department, full infusion service, and survivorship and palliative care programs.
Benefits and Salary
This position offers an attractive compensation package, including:
* $344,700 to $559,400 per year (salary range based on experience)
* Starting bonus of $40,000
* Competitive base salary + robust incentives
* 4 weeks+ vacation time, 1 week CME with generous stipend, malpractice coverage, and complete benefits package
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
* Unrestricted Washington State physician license (MD/DO) or ability to obtain prior to employment
* Successful completion of residency/fellowship at an accredited program or ability to obtain prior to employment
* Board certification or eligibility in medical oncology or hematology and oncology
