Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Upfitter to join our team at Chalmers Ford Inc. As an Automotive Upfitter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to vehicle upfitting, including testing and diagnosing issues, communicating with customers, and executing repairs under warranty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements:

  • Must have a current, valid New Mexico Driver's License
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Service Technician experience required
  • EVT Certification a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
