UMOS Senior Site Operations Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  1. Supports the Program Manager in organizing and overseeing case activities of UMOS and affiliated agencies' personnel concerning program eligibility, placement, reporting requirements, program objectives, and goals.
  2. Aligns program activities with other Job Center initiatives to ensure maximum efficiency and adherence to relevant program policies and procedures.
  3. Offers technical guidance to subcontractors regarding effective strategies for employer engagement and program accountability.
  4. Conducts regular on-site evaluations at worksites to confirm that both participants and employers comply with program policy guidelines.
  5. Monitors participant activities to ensure adherence to program policy requirements.
  6. Establishes and nurtures long-term relationships with current and prospective employers that may serve as worksites.
  7. Assists host worksites in crafting suitable job descriptions, maintains a database of available positions and descriptions, and communicates information to Job Coaches and subcontracted agency personnel.
  8. Facilitates the identification and development of host worksites, ensuring they are safe, beneficial, and allow subsidized workers to acquire skills aligned with their career aspirations.
  9. Helps secure worksite agreements with each host site, clearly defining obligations to ensure that subsidized positions do not displace regular employees and that grievance procedures are established for resolving complaints.
  10. Acts as a liaison between host worksites and UMOS to address any customer service and retention issues.
  11. Collaborates with UMOS and subcontractor personnel to ensure timely and accurate collection and recording of payroll information.
  12. Participates in meetings, conferences, and workshops as assigned, and undertakes special projects and other related tasks as necessary.
UMOS Senior Site Operations Coordinator Job Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 2 years of post-secondary education, preferably in human/social services or a related field.
  2. Five years of professional experience in one or a combination of the following areas: job development, staffing, customer service, or workforce development. Note: Additional years of relevant post-secondary education may substitute for one year of experience.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to meet project performance objectives.
  4. Awareness, knowledge, and sensitivity to the socioeconomic and cultural diversity of the populations served.
  5. Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment and respond to customer needs with respect and diplomacy.
  6. Proficient in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.; experience with CARES is preferred.
  7. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and adequate auto liability insurance, with the ability to travel and work irregular hours.
