Reimbursement Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reimbursement Specialist to join our team at Blackbird Recruiting. As a key member of our reimbursement team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment to our clients from insurance carriers.
Key Responsibilities- Payment Processing: Post insurance companies' payments and/or responses into various systems based on client requirements.
- Denial Management: Review recent codes of partial and full denials, utilize carrier portals or call for clarification, and resubmit claims with appropriate reasons.
- Appeals and Reconsiderations: Write up appeals and follow up on claims sent for reconsiderations.
- Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients to ensure seamless reimbursement processes.
- Organizational Skills: Maintain accurate records, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines to ensure efficient reimbursement processes.
- Detail-Oriented: Possess above-average organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
- Computer Experience: Proficient in using computer systems and software to process payments and manage claims.
- Team Player: Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and ensure successful reimbursement processes.
