About This Role
CarMax is seeking a highly skilled Data Science Sr. Manager to join our team. As a key member of our analytics community, you will be responsible for leading the development of data-driven solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of data science models and algorithms to drive business outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-powered products and tools
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our data assets and leverage them to drive business insights
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Manage and grow a high-performing team of data scientists and engineers
Requirements
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Math, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering)
- 4+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
