Sedgwick is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Auto Claims Representative to join our team. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for analyzing and processing low to mid-level auto physical damage claims. Key Responsibilities- Process auto property damage claims, assessing damage, making payments, and ensuring claim files are properly documented and correctly coded based on the policy.
- Develop and maintain action plans to ensure state required contract deadlines are met and to move the file towards prompt and appropriate resolution.
- Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities, securing and disposing of salvage.
- Communicate claim action/processing with insured, client, and agent or broker when appropriate.
- Maintain professional client relations.
- Perform coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assignments.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Secure and maintain the State adjusting licenses as required for the position.
- Three (3) years of personal line or commercial line auto physical damage claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include knowledge of construction basics.
- Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
- Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses to effectively negotiate first and third party claims.
- Knowledge of total loss processing, State salvage forms and title requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
- Analytical and interpretive skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet or exceed Service Expectations.
