",Job Description
",We are seeking a highly skilled Progressive Care Nurse Manager to lead our PCU environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care.
",Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
",- Leadership and Expertise",
- Provide leadership and take responsibility for the delivery of safe, quality patient care for assigned departments on a 24-hour basis.",
- Ensure department's standard of nursing practice, nursing policies and procedures meet legal, and all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.",
- Interdisciplinary Teamwork",
- Evaluate patient progress and collaborate with physicians, patients, and other members of the healthcare team regarding patient care and treatment.",
- Quality Improvement",
- Develop and implement ongoing programs to measure, monitor, assess, and improve quality of nursing care delivered to patients.",
- Care Coordination",
- Ensure effective coordination of the patient's care with other services and departments throughout the hospital.",
Required Skills and Qualifications
",To be successful in this role, you must have:
",- Licensure and Education",
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.",
- Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.",
- Certifications",
- American Heart Association BLS certification.",
- ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer.",
- Experience",
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.",
- Skillset",
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal skills.",
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions.",
- Ability to follow verbal instructions.",
- PC skills.",
