Salary InformationThe salary for this role ranges from $32.00 to $37.00 per hour.
Job DescriptionAs a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
- Contributing to nursing assessments and care planning.
- Administering medications and performing treatments per physician orders.
- Supervising and monitoring patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree from an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
