Job Summary

We are seeking a Weekend Overnight Counselor to join our team. As a Weekend Overnight Counselor, you will be responsible for the overall monitoring and safety of our residents and sites. This is a part-time position, working Saturday and Sunday nights from 12am to 8am.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as set forth in our personnel manual.
  • Read log for updates, instructions, and assignments.
  • Provide counseling as needed, redirecting to regular staff when appropriate.
  • Crisis intervention as needed.
  • Weekly medication counts, checking for accuracy and corresponding documentation.
  • Perform hourly walk-thrus of site during shift.
  • Unlock kitchen and set out food for breakfast.
  • Participate in monitoring of morning meds as needed.
  • Prompt clients needing to wake early.
  • Attend sites monthly staff meetings.
  • Participate in all trainings as required, including Relias Learning.
  • Attend agency forums.
  • Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least two years of experience in a similar role. We offer a competitive salary of $19.00/hour, as well as a $1,000 sign-on bonus. We also offer an Agency Sponsored Retirement Plan and Employee Sponsored 403(b) Retirement Plan for part-time employees.
