Job Title: Overnight Counselor

Concern Housing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Job Summary:

The Overnight Counselor will be responsible for monitoring and supervising residents during nighttime hours, providing support and guidance as needed. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and supervise residents during nighttime hours, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Provide counseling and support to residents as needed, redirecting to regular staff when appropriate.
  • Participate in crisis intervention and emergency response situations.
  • Conduct weekly medication counts and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Perform hourly walk-thrus of the site during shift, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Unlock kitchen and set out food for breakfast, as well as participate in morning medication monitoring.
  • Attend site staff meetings and participate in required trainings, including Relias Learning.
  • Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least two years of experience in a similar role.
