Cardiac Sonographer

Join Virginia Mason Franciscan Health as a Cardiac Sonographer and be part of a team that delivers high-quality care to patients with heart disease. Our Cardiovascular service line is at the forefront of advancements in cardiac care, and our IAC-accredited Echo Lab provides diagnostic imaging support for various cardiac specialty programs and clinical trials. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will work in a mix of patient care settings, including inpatient and outpatient services, and have opportunities to support advanced imaging needs for complex acute care. We require a graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP)-accredited ultrasound program, credentialing through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), and extensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and physics. You will also need to be able to assist immobile and/or disabled patients, use reasoning and deduction in making medical judgments, and maintain a high level of professional behavior.
