We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Seattle, Washington. As a key member of our Cardiology team, you will perform diagnostic Ultrasound evaluations of patients in an outpatient cardiac care setting.
Essential Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic Ultrasound evaluations of patients with minimal supervision, utilizing your expertise in cardiovascular imaging.
- Obtain high-quality ultrasonic signals from the heart and great arteries, documenting two-dimensional images and/or Doppler ultrasonic signals.
- Assist cardiologists in various procedures, including Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, inputting data into our computerized system.
- Minimum two (2) years of healthcare experience, preferably in a cardiac sonography role.
- Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certificate or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certificate within 24 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
Prior experience in pediatric and echocardiography is highly desirable.
