Position Summary:

As a Portfolio Asset Supervisor, you will leverage your analytical, communication, and time management skills while also cultivating new competencies as part of our Portfolio Management team. Your primary responsibilities will include updating, analyzing, and preparing various reports for management. You will focus on assessing asset risk for new transactions and managing the remarketing of returned equipment. The ideal candidate will identify and mitigate risks associated with opportunities discovered by Pacific Rim Capital, while collaborating with the Portfolio Management team and other departments such as Accounting, Opportunity Management, and Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

New Lease Pricing:

  • Conduct research on estimated wholesale values for equipment as directed by Opportunity Management.
  • Assist in providing wholesale pricing to the Pricing Specialist.
  • Communicate any special equipment issues to management.
  • Review "Specifications Pending" opportunities for unique equipment.

Remarketing:

  • Maintain and develop relationships with remarketers.
  • Expand the remarketer database to enhance diversification.
  • Negotiate with third parties for equipment purchases, ensuring maximum sale value.
  • Address issues arising from the audit process promptly.
  • Verify audits against the ELS return provisions.
  • Communicate all returns, damages, and chargebacks with the Portfolio Specialist.
  • Ensure awareness of current market prices for off-lease equipment.
  • Request third-party invoices as necessary.
  • Provide backup support for Portfolio Analysts.
  • Complete other tasks or projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and proactive approach to daily responsibilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone and email etiquette.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Robust analytical, mathematical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (including Vlookup, Pivots, and various formulas is a plus).
