Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a transit vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers, assisting them when boarding and de-boarding the vehicle.
  • Maintain knowledge of all fixed routes, stop locations, and schedules.
  • Report any accidents or incidents, and complete required reports.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Two years of related experience or a satisfactory combination of experience and training.
  • Possession of a valid Oregon Driver's License and a safe driving record.
  • Current CDL with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to varying weather conditions and traffic situations. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
