Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to join our team at Diverse Lynx LLC. As a Snowflake Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex data solutions using Snowflake, DBT, and other ETL technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze requirements and existing resources to propose and create ETL designs and database objects.
2. Convert SAS data sets to Snowflake tables and work with project and business analyst leads to develop and clarify in-depth technical requirements.
3. Design and implement ETL and SAS Data processes for data transactions related to Enterprise Data Warehouse, Operational Data Store (ODS), and other data structures to support our Business Intelligence operations.
4. Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions using IBM Infosphere Data Stage ETL or any other cloud-based ETL tool.
5. Participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using IBM Infosphere Information Server (IIS) products like Data Stage, Quality Stage on a Linux Grid environment.
Requirements:
1. Hands-on experience with Snowflake development environment and all SQL operations.
2. Awareness of ELT approach and ability to work with diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools.
3. Strong conceptual understanding of core DW Concepts, including different approaches/methodologies.
4. Experience with DBT (data build tool) and ability to work with project and business analyst leads.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
