Anatomy Technician, Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University

The Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University is seeking a highly skilled Anatomy Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the cadaver/animal body donation program.
• Prepare teaching models and specimens, including cadaver preparation/embalming.
• Set up and break down of each laboratory teaching or examination session, which may require lifting up to 50 pounds or carrying up to 40 pounds.
• Maintain inventory and purchasing of learning materials, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Prepare chemical solutions for the preservation of specimens.
• Enforce compliance with all standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the laboratory.
• Maintain records in compliance with Environment and Health Safety policies and regulations.
Requirements:
A high school diploma and one year's relevant experience with animals in a professional setting.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with anatomy dissection, medical terminology, and embalming cadavers.
