Seasonal Yard Laborer

Pyco Industries, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Yard Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our yard crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of our seed inventory and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

• Drive and operate a bobtail seed truck to transport seed to and from our yard.
• Clean and prepare rail cars for loading and unloading seed.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Perform daily tasks as assigned by the department supervisor.
• Assist in other areas as directed by the supervisor.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of experience in a related field.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to colleagues.
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods.

This is a seasonal position that requires working in a fast-paced outdoor environment. You will be exposed to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and precipitation. Personal protective equipment will be provided and required in designated areas.
