Job Summary:
As a House Supervisor RN at CHRISTUS Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's nursing units. This position requires a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse who can provide clinical and administrative supervision to our staff, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
- Screen incoming patients for appropriateness of admission and facilitate placement in the proper level of care.
- Act as the hospital's administrative representative, responding to incidents and events, and taking appropriate action.
- Consult with administrators as needed to ensure that our hospital's policies and procedures are being followed.
- Collaborate with other house supervisors and staffing personnel to effectively utilize our PRN pool.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Registered Nursing program, Bachelor's degree preferred or actively pursuing with completion within 2 years.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting.
- RN License in the state of employment or compact.
- BLS certification.
Work Schedule: PRN
Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
