As a Surgical Technologist at EvergreenHealth, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical department. Your primary duties will include assisting in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients, performing scrub duties, and maintaining a clean and organized operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of surgical equipment and supplies.
- Participate in the care and preparation of surgical patients, including preparing them for surgery and assisting with post-operative care.
- Perform scrub duties and assist with surgical procedures as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Surgical Technologist registration in Washington State.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
- Knowledge and training to care for the specific age group under your care.
- NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification.
- 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician.
