At Atavas, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer in Training to join our team. As an Engineer in Training, you will play a critical role in the design and production of construction documents for building facilities of various uses and construction materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques associated with the development of building design and rehabilitation plans.
- Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications.
- Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
- Work independently on small assignments and assist Senior Engineers on projects.
- Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
- Working understanding of AISC, IBC, ACI, and ASCE 7 design standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
- Proficiency in REVIT is a plus.
- Knowledge of structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro and Tekla Structures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks on schedule and within budget.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with a from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Engineer-in-Training certificate or ability to obtain within 6-months.
- Valid Driver's License.
