Job Overview

This position is open to all US citizens. The salary range for this position, including the Dayton, OH locality, is $122,860 - $173,623.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Branch Chief in all aspects of branch management duties and exercise full authority in their absence.
  • Assist the Branch Chief in providing efficient management of the branch, including planning, organizing, execution, and evaluation of all development and research activities conducted by branch personnel.
  • Oversee in-house and contractual programs ranging from basic research and exploratory development to advanced component demonstration efforts.
  • Collaborate with a broad range of functional and technical area experts across the Laboratory, including technology experts, contracting, financial, and other S&E authorities.
  • Manage infrastructure, logistics, safety, travel, and awards/recognitions within the branch.
  • Assist in branch-level financial planning and execution, and approve financial transactions.
  • Act as a senior representative, technical, and programmatic focal point to customers and partners on all assigned program-related activities.
Requirements
  • United States Citizenship
  • At least one year of specialized experience at DR-02/GS-13, or equivalent in other pay systems.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret with access to SCI and SAP security clearance, as a condition of employment.
  • This is a drug testing designated position.
  • Applicants must be able to meet the OPM Qualification Standards of the position being filled.

  • Experience with facilitating and enabling internal/external collaboration and partnerships.
  • A Master's or Doctoral Degree is desired.
