Position Summary:

In the role of Estimator, you will be essential to our operations by generating precise construction estimates, budgets, and proposals for various commercial endeavors.


Primary Duties:

  • Calculate construction expenses for diverse commercial projects
  • Keep and enhance a detailed cost database
  • Evaluate labor, materials, and time needs to determine project costs
  • Create comprehensive reports and proposals for clients and stakeholders
  • Draft detailed proposals with transparent information and cost analyses
  • Oversee multiple estimation projects concurrently, ensuring prompt completion
  • Deliver effective and informative responses to client inquiries during the bidding phase
  • Work alongside Senior Estimators to assess project specifications and drawings

Qualifications:

  • Capability to interpret and comprehend construction plans and specifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel, On Screen Takeoff, and Estimating Software (e.g., Plan Swift)
  • At least 2 years of experience in construction estimation
  • A degree in Construction Management or Engineering is a plus
  • Flexibility to operate both in-office and on-site in a dynamic environment
