Position Summary:

The selected candidate will collaborate across various departments to gather specifications, design effective controls, and execute strategic initiatives. The Engineer will engage in research, data analysis, prototype development, and error resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision and oversee customer infrastructure, including EC2, CloudFormation Templates, AppStream, and Load Balancers.
  • Create dashboards and alerts to promote Operational Excellence.
  • Engage with diverse technologies and customer products.
  • Establish client Application Environments, including VPC, EC2, RDS, SSM, and S3.
  • Design and implement infrastructure in client environments and government cloud settings.
  • Support the integration of new devices with applications.
  • Monitor network connectivity across all internal and external systems.
  • Collaborate with Application leads to assess needs and prepare for infrastructure requirements.
  • Automate routine tasks to enhance operational scalability.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, develop prototypes, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Design and implement networks and systems according to organizational needs.
  • Maintain documentation for all infrastructure and networking components.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in Systems and Network Administration, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • 5+ years focusing on systems, network, and/or application security.
  • 5+ years of experience with web protocols and Linux/Unix systems.
  • 5+ years of scripting and automation experience in large-scale environments using languages such as Python, Java, PHP, Ruby, or Bash/Shell.
  • Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across various business units.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and deliver measurable results in an agile setting.
  • Expertise in implementing system health and performance monitoring tools for 24x7 environments.
  • Practical knowledge of role-based identity management, including SPML and SAML protocols.
