We are seeking a dedicated Residential Counselor Specialist to join our team at Kennedy Services. As a key member of our residential program, you will provide support and guidance to child residents, helping them navigate the challenges of trauma and abuse.

Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on the unique needs of each child resident.
  • Provide crisis prevention and intervention support, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records and statistics.
  • Participate in ongoing staff training and professional development initiatives, enhancing your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid certification in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Experience working with child survivors of trauma and abuse.
  • Cultural competency in working with diverse populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
