Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician II to join our team at Dignity Health Medical Foundation. The successful candidate will provide a variety of mental health services, including initial intake assessments, evaluations, therapy, crisis intervention, and linkages to appropriate services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health services to clients, including individual, family, and group therapy
  • Conduct initial client interviews and assessments to determine treatment needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans with measurable goals and interventions
  • Manage crisis situations, including suicidal and homicidal clients
  • Document all client interactions and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, Associate Clinical Social Worker, or Psychological Assistant
  • Master's degree in an appropriate behavioral science discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Valid California driver's license, valid automobile insurance, and reliable automobile transportation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children and adolescents
  • Knowledge of DSM-5 and crisis intervention techniques
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
