**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Documentation Specialist to join our team at Citizens Bank. As a Loan Documentation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan documents, while maintaining compliance with federal and state banking regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Input loan data into processing software, such as PPDocs and Compliance One, to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Review loan file documentation to identify any missing or incorrect information, and take corrective action as needed.
- Verify title commitments, deeds of trust, promissory notes, applications, and appraisals to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
- Process and review loans, including checking for credit and collateral document exceptions, and ensuring collateral lien perfection.
- Provide support to all areas of the department, including loan administration, credit, and risk management.
- Communicate effectively with personnel from different departments and banking centers to ensure seamless loan processing.
- Generate reports as necessary to track loan processing and identify areas for improvement.
**Requirements:**
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with at least one year of experience in preparing consumer and commercial loan documentation. Proficiency in Windows-based software, such as Word and Excel, is essential. Good typing skills (30 wpm) and the ability to use a 10-key calculator by touch are required. Knowledge of basic accounting principles, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong time management and organizational abilities are a must.
