MOCEAN is a dynamic and innovative agency specializing in social media and brand development. We're seeking an experienced Art Director to join our team, responsible for creating visually stunning content that captivates our audience.
Job Overview
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in art direction and/or design at an advertising agency, with a passion for developing world-class work on social platforms. They should be well-versed in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design software, as well as possess strong organizational and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and assist others on your team.
- Articulate creative ideas internally and to clients.
- Strong sense of typography, design, and layout.
- Assist in ensuring projects are completed at a high standard of excellence.
- Self-motivated and a team player.
- Mentor junior designers and design assistants.
- Develop and refine ideas to push work from good to great.
- Develop and maintain account creative standards.
- Collaborate efficiently with various roles including producers, social managers, strategists, copywriters, account managers, and creative directors.
- Collaborate with editors and motion artists, providing clear direction to creative partners from pitch to post-production.
- Collaborate on client presentation and pitch decks.
- Occasionally assist on photo and video shoots, helping see the creative vision through completion.
Requirements / Preferences
- 4-6 years of experience in art direction and/or design at an advertising agency.
- Passion for developing world-class work on social platforms.
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design software.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills, self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
- Examples of work demonstrating a wide range of design experience.
- Knowledge of all main social media platforms and best practices for creative content.
- Ability to work on a wide range of clients from entertainment to traditional brands.
- Desire to learn, grow, and contribute in a creative, collaborative environment.
- Ability to concept multiple ideas in a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills.
Salary Range
$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
