Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field work, site investigations, and design calculations.
  • Prepare layouts/models, prepare detailed specifications, and prepare parts lists and estimates.
  • Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and equipment.
  • Provide information on required parts, including material composition, dimensions, electrical and safety characteristics, possible procurement sources, and cost information.
  • Produce workable designs from rough sketches or verbal descriptions.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Mechanical Drafting or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of mechanical engineering technician experience.
  • Experience with mechanical layouts, building modeling, rendering, and space allocation.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Background check required and must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust/NACI.
