Respiratory Care Specialist

As a Respiratory Care Specialist at Northern Louisiana Medical Center, you will be responsible for administering pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures. You will work closely with physicians to implement treatment, disease prevention, and pulmonary rehabilitative regimens. Your duties will include assessing and monitoring respiratory care treatments, collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery, and providing cardiac diagnostic and respiratory therapy services to patients 24 hours a day.
The patient population you will serve includes newborns, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients requiring cardiac and respiratory care services. Your goal will be to maintain optimum physiological maintenance of the cardiac and respiratory systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures
- Assess and monitor respiratory care treatments
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery
- Provide cardiac diagnostic and respiratory therapy services to patients 24 hours a day
Requirements:
- Respiratory Care Specialist certification
- Experience working in a hospital setting
