Job Overview

POSITION: The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager with new membership acquisitions by attracting potential members to the studio, fostering relationships, ensuring a positive experience, and effectively guiding them through the sales journey to secure a membership. Additionally, the Sales Associate contributes to member retention and delivers outstanding customer service to existing members. While prior experience in boutique fitness is advantageous, it is not mandatory. This is a part-time role requiring availability for rotating weekend morning shifts.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred experience in sales
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Friendly, inviting, and engaging demeanor
  • Capability to cultivate robust customer relationships
  • Goal-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets in memberships, retail, and personal training
  • Self-starter with initiative
  • Proficient in learning and utilizing the ClubReady software system
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Competent computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Authorization to work in the United States is necessary


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement the sales process including lead generation, follow-up, and closing
  • Conduct facility tours while building rapport and addressing individual goals and needs
  • Maintain an acceptable level of personal sales performance
  • Highlight and reinforce the club's mission as a fitness and wellness provider
  • Present available services to current and prospective members
  • Schedule quality appointments to meet monthly sales objectives
  • Engage in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community activities) to promote the club
  • Take responsibility for enhancing selling skills
  • Process accurate cash and credit transactions
  • Conduct follow-up activities with potential clients
  • Manage inventory for retail merchandise
  • Participate in all relevant training programs
  • Capture images for promotional purposes
  • Perform light cleaning duties in the retail area, studio, and restrooms
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
