About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Supervisor to join our team at 3M. As a Technical Supervisor, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a manufacturing technology roadmap that aligns with the manufacturing plants objectives
  • Manage and direct manufacturing transformation activities and policies, including the leadership of a team focused on advancing the transformation and capabilities of the plant
  • Provide direct supervision to a highly technical team including Manufacturing Systems Engineers, Control Systems Engineers, and Automated Inspection Engineers
  • Lead sites manufacturing technology advancement through data visualization, equipment and data automation
  • Drive sustainable improvements in factory through digital transformation to increase plant productivity of new and existing products and processes
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Seven (7) years in one or more of the following areas: manufacturing technology, process engineering and/or manufacturing operations in a private, public, government, or military environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated strong leadership ability, history of leading high-performance teams
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment automation and data collection systems
  • Expertise with the most current theories and practices in integration of data management systems (IT) with industrial operation systems (OT)
  • Technology as well as overall operations optimization
  • Experience with robust system implementations
  • Knowledge and certification in Lean Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies
Work Environment

This position may include up to 10% domestic travel.
