Job Summary

Pride Health is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility in Columbia, MD. This is a 3-month assignment opportunity with the possibility of extension or conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect high-quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while adhering to established practices and procedures.
  • Interact with patients, creating a trusting atmosphere and explaining procedures in a clear and concise manner.
  • Perform blood collection via venipuncture and capillary technique for patients of all age groups.
  • Process specimens in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Enter orders, retrieve and verify patient collection data, and patient special notations using relevant sources.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
