Position Overview: In this capacity, you will be responsible for conducting production testing on high-voltage, high-power switching power supplies and their related subassemblies. A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital and analog disciplines is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing of Completed Units:
- Adhere to production testing protocols, documenting data as necessary for completed units.
- Accurately report and document any operational malfunctions.
- Perform fault troubleshooting utilizing block diagrams and schematics at the system, board, and component levels.
Testing of Equipment Subassemblies:
- Interpret and follow written testing procedures.
- Transfer software programs from the network into components and assemblies using Windows-based applications.
- Correctly stamp and log all assemblies submitted for testing.
Collaborate with Engineering to design and build test fixtures along with the corresponding procedures.
Differentiate production issues from engineering challenges. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring lists.
- Comprehension of testing procedures and data sheets.
- Effective communication with assembly personnel when issues arise.
- Proficient in Windows operating systems.
- Expertise with standard testing equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, Meg-Ohm meters, Hi-pot testers, and thermal imagers.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Must possess documented US Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident status.
Educational Background:
A degree in Electronics from an accredited technical institute or equivalent military training is required.
